Charlie McKenzie is an artist who resides in the coastal Matakana area north of Auckland. 25 years of design and build experience within the fibreglass industry has led to the development of this exciting and decorative art.
He creates stunning large, glossy wall hung pieces, inspired by his lifelong passion for composite mediums and yacht design. His works are created by infusing original hand printed images and famous Marimekko images printed on fabric into a resin composite panel. The result is bold and strong in colour, with a high gloss finish.
